I never was a big Super Mario fan, but I did play a lot of it during my NES and SNES childhood days. It's one of the earliest gaming experiences I've ever had, especially with Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3. I also a played some Mario Kart on the Switch and their recent 3D platformers, but Wonder is just really special. Classic 2D platformer Mario is back, and it's probably the best Super Mario game to date.

The game introduces us to the Flower Kingdom, a vibrant and fantastical world neighboring Mushroom Kingdom that's filled with surprises and extraordinary gameplay mechanics.

The first game was one of my lowkey go-to racing games to play on the Steam Deck. Now it gets a sequel which honestly flew under my radar until its release recently. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is continuation of the original game with some noticeable improvements, especially in the gameplay and content.

In Dancing Duelists, you step into the shoes of one of ten charming, cartoonish characters, each radiating a unique silly vibe. The goal is straightforward - win seven battles to claim the title of the ultimate Dance Duelist. However, be wary of accumulating three losses, as that spells your way out of the competition. It's also a roguelike in the truest sense, with every defeat resetting your progress.

Spider-Man 2 is finally here and it's kicking ass. Even with the introduction sequence, it is immediately action-packed and doesn't skip a beat. I literally got goosebumps while playing through the initial set piece, which could even pass as a climax in other games. (which I'm not going to spoil, the gameplay shown above is a random snippet taken from my playthrough). Immediately, It also clearly showcases the power of the PS5's SSD with the amount of city panning and fast traversal it seamlessly executes.

And you can also beat it in just 10 minutes. Dancing Duelists is a brief but spirited deckbuilding autobattler, made by Mega Crit's (developers of Slay the Spire). Developed in a mere three weeks using Godot Engine, this game invites players to select from ten silly quirky cartoonish characters and engage in a series of dance-off battles.

It's set in a future world, particularly in the year 2177, where human civilization has entered the Cyber Era. the game is set to have its soft launch on October 25, and I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek preview of the game before its release.
