It originally released in Early Access in 2019, with an official release in 2021. The game has received numerous updates since then, as well as new DLC content early this year.

7/10Now on Mobile (Cloud), It’s basically Brotato on steroids, but it needs more work | Wild Legion ReviewI’ve been on a rogue-like roll recently, and now we’re about to cover yet another game the in the genre with Wild Legion, an upcoming rogue-like survival game with some refreshing twists. I recently played the Demo available on Steam and it’s basically Brotato on steroids, featuring auto-attack horder survival gameplay filled with elements taken from other genres such as tower defense, twin-stick shooting, crafting, and questing. The game is still under development, and set to be release in Early Access on Q1 2024.

It is a sequel to the original mobile game Candy Disaster TD, featuring very similar elements, and adds rogue-like deck-building elements to the franchise.

7/10The 2023 GOTY contender Resident Evil 4 has finally made its mark on Apple devices, bringing the recent and already iconic survival horror experience to mobile phones, tablets, and Mac. Capcom's decision to release this remake on Apple devices is a significant milestone for mobile gaming, especially considering the game's recent release this year for current-gen consoles and PC. This is probably the first time we are getting a 1:1 mobile port of a technically and visually impressive AAA game, in the same year.

10/10The Cub is a story-rich puzzle-platformer game set in a post-apocalyptic Earth, where the majority of humans have abandoned the planet for Mars. Only a few remnants remain on the surface, coexisting mostly peacefully with the animals in order to survive. The game is set to release on January 2024, for PC, Xbox Series, PlayStation, and Switch. With a Demo available to try on Steam.

7/10A creative rogue-lite where breaking the game is encouraged | PC+Mobile (Cloud) - Core Devourer ReviewCore Devourer is an upcoming rogue-lite survival top-down shooter of what seems like a mash up of two of the best rogue-like games in the genre: Risk of Rain 2 and Vampire Survivors. I tested the Demo recently — and with the limited gameplay I experienced, I can say there is indeed potential in this game, if they can get the pacing and the mechanics right upon release.

7/10Once Human is an upcoming fascinating amalgamation of multiple video game themes; Death Stranding, Control, and Alan Wake, blending post-apocalyptic and sci-fi elements into a genre that I somewhat found surprising and out-of-place, ---- an open-world sandbox. The game introduces players to a world ravaged by the Stardust, an alien entity infesting everything, turning them into monstrous forms. As a Meta-Human, players harness the power of Stardust to survive, fight, build, and explore in a world where humanity is on the brink of extinction.

7/10A beautiful expansive game that does justice to Avatar | Review - Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora ReviewAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora takes players on an immersive journey into the world of Pandora, expanding upon the lore established in James Cameron's epic cinematic universe. As a first-person action-adventure game, it combines the lush yet dangerous environments of Avatar with the open-world design reminiscent of Ubisoft's Far Cry series. Ubisoft is really the perfect company to make Avatar video games with their experience on Far Cry.

1/10The Day Before is a survival horror extraction shooter with multiplayer elements, it was initially hyped as a massive multiplayer experience, comparable to The Division or DayZ. However, it's off to a rocky Early Access start with numerous delays leading up to this Early Access release, trademark disputes, and major performance issues. The game's ambitious promises have not been met, leading to widespread disappointment among players.
