Atomic Heart is an action FPS game that completely caught me by surprise. For an upcoming new developer — Mundfish — who has only developed a now discontinued VR game so far, that hasn’t stopped them from delivering an impressive game, and they have really hit it out of the park with this one.

1 Bit Survivor is a rogue-lite survival horror with simplistic 1-bit graphics but an artistic stylized presentation. The atmosphere is definitely classic Resident Evil 2 and 3-style, an obvious inspiration especially with sound bits when starting a session complete with typewriter sounds to tell the story, and the menacing sound effects that you hear. The comparison however ends there as the gameplay features a 1-bit retro game design and monochromatic graphics.

There are a lot of ARPGs out there already, but what makes Superfuse unique is its cell-shaded comic-book art-style. It’s not just cell shaded graphics, because even the effects and texts are comic-book inspired. This is something that even Marvel and DC games have failed to utilize and capitalize on, considering they are comic-book franchises. Superfuse combines cell-shaded comic-book art style, looter elements, with some action packed hack ’n slash mechanics.
